Agora

One Expert, Three Interviews, and a Content Program Built to Last

How a three-part interview series in partnership with a DLA Piper attorney became a gated ebook, a webinar companion, and a multi-channel distribution play for one of real estate's leading investment management platforms.

The Client

Agora is an investment management software platform trusted by 900+ real estate companies worldwide, supporting more than $300 billion in assets under management. Agora helps general partners (GPs) fundraise, manage investor relationships, and run their back office more efficiently.

The Brief

Agora's content team came to me with a clear goal: help real estate GPs understand the shift from deal-by-deal syndications to fund structures. The content outlined the key differences between the two models, explained when it makes sense to transition, and showed how Agora simplifies fund management for growing firms.

The anchor was Yoni Tuchman, Fund Formation Partner at DLA Piper LLP in Los Angeles. My role was to interview him, shape those conversations into a three-part blog series, and compile the content into a downloadable ebook.

The Process

The project ran over three months, with one installment per month, each built on a recorded interview with Yoni. I handled the briefing, interviews, transcription, research, and writing. Two of the three interviews I ran entirely independently, conducting them the way Agora would have with a valued external partner.

AI tools supported the transcription and helped surface key insights from hours of conversation. The judgment calls — what to include, how to frame complex legal and structural concepts for a GP audience, what tone to strike — were mine.

Each piece was reviewed by Yoni, required only light edits, and then moved straight to publication.

Once all three parts were live, I wrote the intro and conclusion to frame the series as a cohesive ebook: From Deals to Funds — A Practical Guide to Launching, Structuring, and Scaling Your First Fund.

The Distribution

The work didn’t stop at publication. The content I created was repurposed across Agora’s distribution channels, including:

Just over an hour of interviews became content across four distinct formats.

The Result

The ebook and companion content were published on Agora's website — trusted by 900+ real estate companies managing $300B+ in assets, with 15.8K monthly organic visits and verified AI search visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini. The ebook remains a live, gated asset featured in Agora's newsletter and actively used in their content marketing.
